Mediation and collaborative law

You know your circumstances and your children better than the court, therefore with the assistance of a mediator you and your ex-partner may be able to reach an agreement without the need for difficult court proceedings.

We can offer assistance by way of mediation or collaborative law in addition to our other legal options.

Mediation is an alternative to the court process, which allows parties to sort out their own arrangements concerning separation, their children and financial matters. As part of our family team, we have two qualified and experienced mediators who can work with you to find an acceptable solution to your separation arrangements

Collaborative law is a process that encourages the parties to work together on settling their matrimonial issues, rather than do this through court combat. Collaborative Law originated in America and has been brought to the UK through the organisation Resolution - first for family law.
