Financial planning
We offer a comprehensive financial planning service for clients.
Financial planning involves adopting a well-structured and considered approach to your finances. Our advice is tailored to individual circumstances and financial objectives, not “one size fits all”. We take pride in the fact that we are completely independent of any financial institution and always have our client’s best interests in mind.
We are able to provide broad advice in all areas of financial planning, including investments, pensions, life insurance, mortgages and long term care. Our advisers are highly qualified and hold specialist qualifications in the areas of equity release, long term care, pensions and portfolio management.
We have a close working relationship with our Tax and Estate Planning department, and a large proportion of our work centres around financial planning for individuals, advising on investments and tax planning matters, where the two can often be combined.
We will usually offer an initial meeting free of charge, at either our Maidstone or Tenterden offices. The purpose of this initial meeting is to obtain a background to our client’s circumstances, hear what they would like to achieve and to decide together the ways in which we can provide appropriate advice and planning.
Our aim is to build a long term relationship with our clients, unlike many organisations who wish simply to transact business. Because investments need to be kept under regular review, and circumstances can change, we aim to meet with our clients at least once a year to make sure that arrangements are still in keeping with objectives.
The main areas we cover include:
- wealth preservation
- pension and retirement planning
- pensions managed service
- life assurance
- long term care
- tax mitigation
- investment and protection review
- mortgages
We have no ties to any insurance or investment company and our advice is completely independent.
